Our ward regularly organizes trips to the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, located at 1739 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. These visits offer a sacred opportunity to participate in ordinances and feel closer to Heavenly Father.

Prepare for a Temple Trip

Plan Ahead:
- Check the schedule for upcoming temple trips.
- Confirm departure times and transportation details.

Bring Essentials:
- A current temple recommend (for ordinance participation).
- Modest, Sunday-best attire. Temple clothing is available to rent if needed.

Prepare Spiritually:
- Spend time praying, reading scriptures, or reflecting on the ordinances you’ll participate in.
- Before going to the temple, you will need to meet with your bishop to discuss preparing for participation in temple work and to receive a temple recommend.

Invite Others:
- Temple trips are more meaningful when shared. Invite family, friends, or fellow ward members to join you.
Directions to the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple
📍 Address:
1739 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
🚗 By Car:
- From Harrisburg, take I-76 E toward Philadelphia (approx. 1 hr 45 min drive).
- Follow signs for Vine Street Expressway/I-676 E.
- Take the exit for Broad Street/Central Philadelphia. The temple will be on your left.
🚉 By Public Transportation:
- Take Amtrak from Harrisburg Station to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.
- From 30th Street Station, walk east on JFK Boulevard or take SEPTA to Race-Vine Station, which is a short walk from the temple.

- Limited parking is available on-site. Public garages are also available nearby.
