What to Expect in Sacrament Meeting
A Warm Welcome:
Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of background or beliefs. Don’t worry if you’re new—just come as you are, and we’ll be happy to see you.Hymns and Music:
We sing hymns as a congregation to invite the Spirit and express our love for Jesus Christ. You can follow along in the hymnbook provided or just listen and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The Sacrament (Communion):
Bread and water are passed to the congregation to help us remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. You’re welcome to participate if you feel comfortable, or you can simply pass the tray along.Speakers from the Congregation:
Instead of a single pastor delivering a sermon, members of the congregation share messages about gospel principles, personal experiences, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.Families Worship Together:
Children, teens, and adults sit together during this meeting. If your children get restless—no problem! We’re used to it, and there’s a foyer available if you need a short break.
